5 Favorite 1stdibs Items: White Hot!

With the heatwave that is gripping our part of the country, there's only one color that comes to mind, and that's white! With the heat having you see reds and oranges outside, bring down the temperature with cool white accents in your space. When used sparingly, white furniture pieces can be just as bold an accent as other bright colors! It doesn't matter the style, as long as it's white and bright!

1) Belgian Plaster Wall Panels
We love the texture involved in these Mid-Century Belgian wall plaster panels. Almost feeling like a blank canvas due to their white color, these would look great hung on a wall that was painted a bright color.

2) Pair of Caterpillar Armchairs
The description of these chairs says they're really celery green, but we see white! Created by Milo Baughman we love the shape of these armchairs and think they'd make a great bold profile against a brightly painted wall or a bright rug!

4) T. H. Robsjohn Gibbings for Widdicomb chest of drawers
The laquered white finish of this chest of drawers is a great example of how to add white to a space in a really sophisticated way. We also love the dark, almost black legs and the gorgeous gold, circular handles.
