This Week's Top 5 Favorite 1stdibs Items: Organic Sculptures!

We're feeling...sculptural today. We found a number of highly exciting sculptures in today's newest listings from 1stdibs, and have decided to pick a few of our favorites. Adding sculpture into the mix of your home decor is important. You don't want to bore people with a room that's all flat angles and predictable planes, you want to delight and surprise guests with an interesting sculpture in a corner, on a table top or displayed prominently in a room. Because there are often plenty of straight lines in a space already, we chose soft, organically-shaped sculptures for today!

1) Frank Schillo "Acht" sculpture
We think this all white table sculpture is so neat: it has an almost man-made internal structure appearance, but then it also manifests itself in a lot of organic shapes and movements.

2) Tove Anderberg Sculpture
What an adorable little egg-shaped, textured, beautifully-colored little sculpture! We love the feminine feel this would bring a room or table.

J. Lohmann Gallery

3) Angel Wings Murano Chandelier
Ohh, a sculpture on the ceiling in the shape of a chandelier! We love Murano glass here, and the way it's been manipulated to create such a lovely, organic and sculptural piece of art.
Price: $2,950
Dealer:
The Collection Los Angeles

4) Abstract Sculpture by Robert Roesch
This sculpture is interesting in that it has a lot of straight lines and geometry, but still has a lot of organic movement and actions to give it some great style.
Price: $6,500
Dealer:
Eclectiques

5) Sess Lounge by Nani Prina
This is a piece of furniture but it is gorgeous! And it has a lot of curvy shapes, organic-feel but still very functional because it's a piece of furniture!
Price: $5,200
Dealer:
Pierre Anthony
